We regularly receive suggestions for alternative routes to the E4 Peloponnese. These are usually shortcuts or alternatives to sections on asphalt. We would like to say:

YES! There are many such alternatives along the entire length of the route.

BUT: We take care of the official route of the European Long Distance Trail.

AND: Be creative! Find alternatives and try them out. Let us know, too. We are curious ;-)

BUT: We do not publish alternatives (small exceptions for stage 8 and 11).
